The mission of our school is to provide a Christ centered education within an Armenian heritage and cultural programs, wherein each student becomes acquainted with Christian teachings and faith as well as excellence in learning under loving and disciplined conditions.
Curriculum
Sahag-Mesrob offers a balanced curriculum to accomplish its mission statement.
The following subjects are offered to promote the spiritual, intellectual and academic, social, physical, and cultural values in each student:
Armenian, Armenian History, Art, Bible, Computer, English (reading, writing, spelling, grammar, comprehension), Math, Music, Natural Sciences, Physical Education and social studies.
The school meets all the state curricular requirements in academic subjects.
After School/Extracurricular Activities
Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School offers a variety of extra-curricular student programs that promote learning and sharing by students.
- Athletic Program – Students participate in inter-school sports and Kaham games.
- Music Program – Students spend extra time to prepare for special performances in choir, band and drama. Komidas Music School offers music classes at the school on Saturdays.
